Lot presentation

Château Peyrat-Fourthon 2014

The wine

This Haut Médoc is known to outperform many crus classés at blind tastings. It has a beautiful garnet colour and a refined and complex bouquet with notes of red fruits, liquorice and toast. The palate is elegant and fleshy with a long finish and promises excellent ageing potential.

About the Producer Château Peyrat-Fourthon

Pierre Narboni bought Château Peyrat-Fourthon in 2004. The vineyard covers 20 hectares. Since then, the wines have come on leaps and bounds, and while the name is relatively unknown, the quality of the wines has been acknowledged by professional critics (RVF, Decanter…).
