Rather rare, unknown grape varieties are planted, such as Tempranillo Blanco, Maturana Tinta, Maturana Blanca. The wines are organic. The combination of a clement climate, high altitude and limestone soils makes the vines ‘suffer’, producing few, very concentrated grapes.
