Château Péby Faugères

Until 2005 Péby Faugères was owned by the Guisez family, who also owned Château Faugères and Château Péby-Faugères, on a property 6 kilometres east of the village of Saint Emilion. On the death of Péby Guisez in 1997, his daughter Corinne selected the property's best plots to create Péby Faugères, which is matured in new oak barrels for 16 months. These three properties were acquired in 2005 by the business man Silvio Denz (owner of Lalique). Advised by Michel Rolland, the new owner upheld traditions and continued to produce a haute couture wine. From the 2009 vintage onwards, Château Péby Faugères' bottles have been engraved with a Lalique design.
