        Chevreux-Bournazel

The story of the domain started in 2012, when Stéphanie Chevreux and Julien Bournazel decided to produce their own cuvées from vines grown in their own vineyard. The domain spans just under one hectare of Pinot Meunier vines, the majority of which are ideally situated overlooking the Marne Valley, with the remainder on the slopes of the Surmelin Valley. These two terroirs, with their very distinct features, confer exceptional aromatic potential on the Pinot Noir grape variety, bringing out the very best in its different characteristics. The winemakers cultivate their vines by applying natural fertilisers, derived from herds of goats, for example. They promote sustainable and natural viticulture, banning all chemical additives from both the winery and the vineyard. The domain is certified in organic and biodynamic agriculture since 2015. The vineyard produces unique, authentic cuvées in limited quantities, creating a real buzz among the greatest Champagne connoisseurs.
