        Elio Grasso

The Elio Grasso estate nestles in the heart of the charming Italian commune of Monforte d’Alba. The verdant, colourful and stylish estate is a Unesco World Heritage Site. The 42-hectare vineyard includes 24 hectares of woodland and meadows surrounding 18 hectares of vines. The winemaker lovingly cultivates grape varieties typical of the region, such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, but also Chardonnay. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, the winemaker cultivates his land with the greatest respect for the soil and biodiversity. Each parcel receives specific care depending on its needs, to allow the personality of each one to shine through. In the winery, the philosophy is the same. Vinification involves minimal intervention and sulphur is added in minute quantities. The Italian domain produces authentic and fruity vintages that perfectly reflect the flavoursome grape varieties of the region.
