        Located in the heart of the Champagne commune of Cramant, classified as a Grand Cru, the estate comprises close to eight hectares of vines. Richard Fouquet and his wife Karine tend three hectares of vines, leaving a further five hectares available to the Laurent Perrier Champagne House. Richard was barely 18 when he took over the family business run by his grandmother. He unveiled his first vintage in 1996. Not looking to tick any boxes, the estate is not certified, yet cultivates its land in accordance with the principles of organic farming. The use of insecticides and pesticides have long been banished from the plots of vines, ranging from 30 to 70 years old. In the winery, the grapes from each plot are vinified and fermented separately to preserve their unique and distinct identity. As a result, the estate produces Champagnes with unique, precise, finely sculpted profiles reflecting the full diversity of the terroir.
