Wine for sale: Henri Abelé
Henri Abelé
Henri Abelé was established in 1757 through the hard work of Théodore VanderVeken, in the heart of the Champagne wine-growing landscape. The estate is renowned throughout the world for having invented the riddling table in 1816, which has become an essential part of the champagne-making process. Henri Abelé took over the family business in 1876 and gave it his name. Today, the estate continues to cultivate the finest terroirs in the region, taking pride in audaciously blending the different plots to create its signature wines. Each step is carried out with the utmost respect for the land and biodiversity both in the vineyard and in the winery. The estate is also famous for its iconic two-kilometre-long cellar, carved out of limestone rock. It is in this privileged setting that the estate produces great, authentic and iconic wines, reflecting more than 250 years of history.
