Wine for sale: Lafage
Lafage
The Lafage family has been producing wine from Father to Son since 1798. In the 1980s, Jean-Marc Lafage took an active part in cultivating the family vines and decided to produce his own cuvées. He met Éliane while studying oenology. Together they travelled through diverse viticultural landscapes in South America, the United States, South Africa and Australia. In 2001, they decided to officially take over the family business, which comprises 36 hectares of vines planted between Perpignan, Canet-en-Roussillon and Maury. They were then supported by Guy Lafage and his wife Marthe, who played a major role in the estate’s presence at wine fairs around the world. In less than two decades, Jean-Marc and Éliane have become true ambassadors of the Roussillon region, with the aim of sublimating each parcel by carefully applying the best of their expertise.
