        Situated near Vouvray, in the heart of the village of Vernou-sur-Brenne, east of Tours and north of the Loire, Domaine Lemaire-Fournier is now run by Marie-Annick Lemaire and Nicolas Renard. Nicolas Renard started working at the estate when the owner, Madame Lemaire, acquired it some 40 years ago. From the outset, he worked tirelessly to develop the vineyard, which now comprises almost 30 hectares of vines, spread over 40 different plots. This great diversity of terroirs produces rich, fragrant wines with a wide range of aromas. Convinced of the positive effects of organic methods on the vine and the wine, the winemakers cultivate each plot according to organic viticultural principles. In the winery, the harvested grapes are vinified traditionally, with as little intervention as possible. The estate crafts authentic, flavoursome cuvées that are the perfect reflection of an exceptional terroir.
