Beaujolais | 2010 vintage
After an atypical 2009 with the emphasis on the south, 2010 marks a return to a more traditional profile across the Bordeaux area. Wines deliver more tautness and the characteristic freshness of local Gamay. While lacking the fullness and complexity of 2009 wines, 2010 bottles offer a better balance than 2008, with a certain liveliness, but fine grape ripeness in the best domaines.
There were therefore many success stories in this region, which has been producing good vintages for several years.
