Wine for sale: Bordeaux 1939

Bordeaux | 1939 vintage

The weather conditions were pretty average that year with fairly good weather for the harvest, although this was disrupted by armed conflicts. The vintage, pretty average for dry white wine but slightly better for red wine, has aged quite well. The bouquet is fine and well-developed, and still nicely fresh and fruity. The Sauternes are very good with soft and fruity wines.
