Bordeaux | 1960 vintage
A mediocre vintage. Following a hot and dry June and July, torrential rain during August and September quashed any hopes for a great vintage. The majority of the wines are diluted and cruelly lacking in concentration. However, Latour, Montrose, la Mission Haut-Brion and Gruaud Larose produced some good wines. The sweet wines are flat and devoid of character.
