Bordeaux | 1970 vintage
An extraordinary year. Due to ideal weather conditions, the harvest provided a large quantity of high quality grapes. Most of these wines, luscious in their youth, have aged marvellously well. Rich, balanced and complex, the wines are deliciously aromatic today. 1970 is without a doubt one of the great post-war vintages (1961, 1982). The sweet wines are impressively rich and voluptuous.
