Bordeaux | 1973 vintage
A difficult vintage due to rain during the harvest. The grapes, full of water, produced thin wines, watery but pleasant. Most of the wines will not keep for long and lack terribly in richness and structure. There are a few good Pomerols and Graves. Despite difficult weather conditions, the sweet wines are supple and elegant.
