The 1998 vintage was born under a good star and has tremendous potential. Despite changeable weather conditions, the harvest gave rise to wines full of promise: either fruity and appealing, or structured and fleshy. In general the harvests were picked under sunny skies and in excellent circumstances. The 1998 vintage is characterised by a certain amount of heterogeneity in the wine styles. The red wines have a very lovely colour. On the palate they are characterised by a balanced structure with lots of fruit, supported by supple and harmonious tannins, which gives them a promising future. The white wines are expressive and pleasing. They are characterised by their elegance, accentuated by a good amount of acidity.
