Champagne | 1976 vintage
A remarkable vintage. An extremely hot summer started a drought in the vineyards. The harvest was very early, starting on 1st September, 84 days after full flowering, characteristic of a very dry year. The picked grapes were in perfect sanitary state and perfectly ripe. This harvest produced wines with distinctive characteristics and an exceptional constitution. The majority of the champagnes are rich and fruity with lots of elegance.
