Champagne | 2005 vintage
Like all the other wine regions in France, 2005 shows signs of an excellent vintage in Champagne. A harvest of exceptional quality with reasonable volumes: the optimal ripeness of grapes could be confirmed just by looking at the perfect colour of the berries: a golden bright yellow for the green grapes and deep red for the black grapes. With must that is over 10% alcohol and a very high level of acidity, this is a vintage to satisfy both the nose and the palate, and one that will leave a lasting impression.
