Loire Valley | 1997 vintage
Despite changeable weather conditions, the vintage produced high quality wines. The dry whites are supple and full-bodied. The Savennières are ripe and powerful. The sweet wines are extraordinarily rich. With degrees of potential to beat all records, the Coteaux-du-Layon, Quarts-de-Chaume and Bonnezeaux all produced exceptional wines.
