    About the producer

Located in Saint-Hippolyte, in Saint-Emilion Grand Cru territory, Château Monlot Capet has 8.5 hectares of vines. Planted in clay-limestone soil, the vines have an average age of 30 years. The estate has been owned by the Chinese actor Zhao Wei since the end of 2011.

    About the wine

After manual harvesting the wines are made in concrete and stainless steel vats. This is followed by aging in 50% new barrels for 18 months. Racking is carried out every three months. Fining is tradionally performed with egg whites. This wine variety delivers wonderful toasty, fruity and slightly woody aromas, with a lovely smooth and elegant palate.
