Pierre-Jacques Druet cultivates 22 hectares in the Loire, producing solely reds. The yields are limited and the extractions flawless. One of Druet's other hallmarks is his long maturing periods, which impart a spicy oakiness and freshness to his wines.
About the wine
The Bourgeuil Grand Mont de Druet is fruity and oaky on the nose. The palate is fresh, supported by tertiary aromas of leather and undergrowth. There is a nice minerality, imparted from its unique terroir. Don’t forget to decant it.
