    Information
    About the producer

Château Fougas used to belong to Bellegarde Priory; its vineyard was created in the 18th century. Acquired by Jean-Yves Bechet in 1976, the property gradually switched to organic methods, and began the process of converting to biodynamic farming in 2010, with respect for the lunar calendar and a minimum use of natural treatments for the vines and the soil serving as the basis of the owner's philosophy. Located on the right bank of the Gironde, near the river, the average age of the vines in this vineyard is 40 years.

    About the wine

The Château Fougas Maldoror is a very elegant Côtes-de-Bourg. It boasts red fruit, truffle and mocha aromas. The palate is balanced, with well integrated tannins.
