Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru Domaine Drouhin-Laroze 2018

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze has been a family domaine for more than a century and a half, with many prestigious appellations in premier crus and grand crus and therefore an exceptional heritage. Today Philippe and Christine Drouhin and their children manage the domaine.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze's Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru is produced in an easterly-facing plot at an altitude of 280m, on a thin silica layer. The term Latricières comes from an expression in Burgundian patois, La tricière, which refers to a land that has little value – ironically, given the quality of the wines produced by this appellation. This masculine, powerful wine offers intense aromas of blackberry, blueberry, licorice and spices. It is robust and powerful, while still retaining its elegance and indulgent tannins.
