About the producer
Domaine Charlopin-Parizot, located in Gevrey Chambertin, was created in 1977 and then taken over by Philippe Charlopin. It currently covers 25 hectares of beautiful terroirs, distributed over the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Chablis, with several grand crus. Its wines are succulent with superb élevage.
About the wine
A powerful Charmes-Chambertin that is rich in fruity notes, from blackcurrant to blackberry. We recommend leaving this wine to age for a decade or so. Its powerful tannins will gain in finesse and its fleshy, long finish will delight the taste buds.
