About the producer

Côtes de Nuits connoisseurs will tell you that behind the name Gros is a mosaic of intertwined domains. The original domain (domain Louis Gros), was divided between his three children, which started the Gros Frère et Soeur, François Gros and Jean Gros domains at the beginning of the 1970s. Within the Jean Gros domain, Anne-Françoise Gros manages her own parcels under the Domaine A-F Gros.

About the wine

Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits from Domaine A.F. Gros has irresistible aromas of black cherry, chocolate, and rose with some hints of spice. It has a surprisingly dark character, much more untamed than the area where it is grown in the commune of Arcenant, in the lieu-dit "Derrière le bois de Chevrey".
