Information
Chantal Rémy is a Burgundy estate that comprises around one hectare of vines, nestled in the heart of the iconic Morey-Saint-Denis. Originally, the vineyard came from the Louis Rémy family estate, which was divided into several properties. Chantal Rémy, aided by her son Florian, cultivates iconic regional grape varieties, such as Pinot Noir, with the goal of showcasing the region's finest appellations. Aware of current environmental issues and with a concern for the protection of biodiversity, their work – both in the vineyard and in the cellar – is carried out with the utmost respect for the soils. Each parcel receives special care carefully tailored to its needs, allowing each personality to shine through. The wine is produced using low intervention methods with only a minimal amount of sulphur added. This Burgundy estate offers authentic, indulgent, and fragrant cuvées that reflect the exceptional terroir of the region.
Since 2009, Domaine Chantal Remy has been forging a name for itself at the heart of Burgundy with a particularly long vinification of 22 months in barrels. It has a bright, ruby colour with beautiful aromas of crisp, red fruits and spices. The attack is lively, making way for a racy and structured mouthfeel.
