    Information
    About the producer

Vincent Dancer cultivates 6 hectares of land across Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault, Pommard and Beaune, family vines that he took up in 1996 after his oenology training. He got things going on his own at the family property, where he went on to build a winery in 1997. Since 2012, his vines have had organic certification. Vincent Dancer has shown himself to be talented and creative in his work, particularly succeeding in the maturation of his cuvées. His wines are remarkable, characterised by their purity and finesse.

    About the wine

Vincent Dancer figured out very quickly the vast potential of the Corbins climat, an area whose deep clay-chalk soil brings texture and power to the wine it produces. He made a wise decision in vinifying this parcel separately. The 40-year-old vines have reached an optimal balance between quality and yield. The grapes are harvested by hand in order to preserve the integrity of the fruit. The vinification involves no additives or sulphur, and the wine is not clarified. Maturation takes 18 months, 12 of which are in oak barrels, resulting in a fatty wine with a deliciously round profile. It has an intense, yellow colour and a fantastically fruity nose. White fruits and pear are some of the most striking notes. On the palate, we find all the texture and elegance we would expect from a fine Meursault. Don’t hesitate to age this cuvée for 5-10 years in your cellar – your patience will be rewarded.
