About the producer
The Pavelot family has been present in Pernand-Vergelesses since at least the 17th century and their domaine has grown over time and generations. Today, Luc and Lise Pavelot have taken over from their father Régis. Their 9-hectare vineyard is certified organic and shared between Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. This is a really interesting area, with particularly charming wine, that also maintains reasonable prices.

The Ile des Vergelesses premier cru is a wine, élevaged in a barrel, which demonstrates the complexity and refinement of its terroir.
