Domaine Gérérard Mugneret in Vosne-Romanée is not very well known or widespread and this is a shame. Gérard Mugneret and his wife Françoise have indeed raised their company to a very high level. The vineyard is now run by their son Pascal maintaining the same philosophy. The wines are exceptional, in a perfectly classical style, particularly expressive whilst retaining great finesse and considerable subtlety.

Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Suchots is a very harmonious wine. The nose delivers beautiful red fruit aromas, while the palate is a good balance of suppleness and body, and the finish is very persistent. This wine would be particularly good with poultry (coq au vin, duck, squab).
