Information
The Amiot family has been making wine in Chassagne-Montrachet since the 1920s. For four generations, each has passed down its passion for winemaking together with its vines, firmly rooted in the terroir of Chassagne-Montrachet. The vines are farmed according to traditional methods and naturally produce modest yields, but always of outstanding quality. In the winery, the same attention to detail guides both vinification and ageing, resulting in wines that combine generosity, finesse and excellent ageing potential.
To make this Chassagne-Montrachet, the domain carried out an alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels with stirring in order to work the lees. This means that the wine has a particularly silky texture. A prolonged maturation in wood has also developed a freshness in its aromatic notes (citrus, pineapple, white flowers) with hints of vanilla. Rich, complex and persistent, this win will keep well in your cellar for a few years.
