With 225 hectares under vine and representation across 130 appellations, not only in the Côte d’Or but also in the Mâconnais and Beaujolais, wine lovers can expect genuine pleasure at every price level, always easily identifiable by the iconic Bacchus head on the label. The estate favours traditional winemaking methods, with slow fermentations and extended ageing. Chemical herbicides are prohibited and yields are strictly limited. North of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the Vosne Romanée vineyard covers 105 hectares. The ‘Les Suchots’ vineyard between Romanée Saint Vivant, Richebourg, and Les Echezeaux benefits from an ideam geological location. This premier cru is destemmed and vinified for four weeks before being placed in oak barrels for twenty months. In this wine, the terroir is expressed beautifully with aromas of cherry, fresh raspberry, and earth. To be aged for five to ten years depending on the vintage, it will be perfect served with red meat or cheese.
