About the producer
Burn McKenzie is a brand of blended Scotch owned by Burn Stewart Distillers. The business was created in 1948 under the name Burn Stewart & Company. At the time it was a brokerage, blending and export business. After being bought in 1988 by various industry veterans, Burn Stewart moved into production and took on the name it uses today. The group bought Deanston in 1990, Tobermory in 1993 and Bunnahabhain in 2003. It is today owned by the South-African group Distell.
