About the producer
Founded in Speyside in 1895, the Dufftown distillery (also known as Singleton of Dufftown for more recent bottlings, and Dufftown of Glenlivet for older bottlings) is owned by the Diageo group. It is mainly used in blends from the Bell's brand.
About the wine
A 1980s Dufftown 10 Year Old imported to Italy by Italwell, Bologna. Though a key ingredient in the Bell’’s blend—as indicated on the label—several single malt bottlings of Dufftown were released in the 1980s, some very old (30, 40 and 50 years). The most frequently found version at the time was, however, an 8 year old.
