Created in 2005, the Pierre-Yves Colin Morey domaine extends over 6 hectares on the Saint Aubin and Chassagne-Montrachetet appellations. After learning about his father's domaine (Marc Colin), Pierre-Yves decided to start his own domaine with his wife Caroline Morey. Mentioned by the specialised press as one of the "most gifted winemakers of his generation" (Revue du Vin de France), his wines, mostly from Chassagne, Meursault and Saint Aubin, must be discovered. Pierre-Yves Colin runs this small domaine with his wife Caroline, completing the production by buying grapes (one third of the volume). In the vineyards, responsible and sustainable farming prevails and in the winery, vinification needs little intervention. One of the strong points of this field is the élevage, which is mainly in demi-muids and is very subtle. This name, widely recognised by fans and professionals, is undeniably a safe bet!

In fact, Pierre-Yves, former winemaker at Domaine Colin in Saint-Aubin, decided to start a small trading company on the side of his job from the 2001 vintage. So, from the 2005 vintage, he left Domaine Colin and started to produce his own wines. He quickly became known for exquisite white wines with eternal style. In fact, marked by a light smoky aroma, a woodiness of great finesse and impressive notes of citrus fruits and cold stones, the wines from Domaine Colin Morey are the perfect response to the contemporary idea of minerality in Burgundy wines with their timeless, complex and perfectly balanced wines.
