Information
Nestling between 220 and 325 metres in altitude, the Chardonnay vines enjoy an ideal south-easterly exposure and a tempered climate. The soils consisting of clay and limestone provide the vines with all the nutrients they require to thrive. Having learned the ropes from Max Léglise, a pioneer in organic winemaking, Jean-Marc Morey now applies sustainable viticulture methods to his own plots. The harvests are exclusively conducted by hand to preserve the soils and fruit. The grapes are meticulously sorted and are vinified according to traditional methods involving as little intervention as possible.
The golden colour and green reflections reveals aromas of fresh bread complemented by notes of walnut and toasted almonds. The delicate and clean palate offers great delicacy along with a fragrant and persistent finish.
