About the producer

On 29 May 2001 Bruichladdich began producing Port Charlotte, a whisky peated to 40 ppm. Port Charlotte is now available in a wide range of versions, offering different age statements, casks and barley sources - all accompanying the distillery's other bottlings, Bruichladdich and Octomore.

About the wine

A Port Charlotte PC5 distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2016. The first Port Charlotte bottlings were released in the PC range, where the brand’’s initials were followed by the whisky’’s age. Matured in bourbon and sherry casks, PC5 was the first edition in the range. A limited edition of 6,038 bottles.
