Information
Gevrey-Chambertin is an iconic Burgundy appellation, which produces delicate, complex and powerful red wines exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. The vines, planted on the hillside between 100 and 380 metres, benefit from ideal exposure and a continental climate. The marly soils provide the vines with all the nutrients and energy they require to thrive. In the winery, the harvested grapes are destemmed and vinified immediately to preserve the concentrated and rich aromas in the berries.
The ruby-red colour complemented by bright reflections reveals an intense bouquet of redcurrant and raspberry harmoniously mingling with subtle woody notes. On the palate, the lively attack reveals delicious flavours of red fruit perfectly balanced by an acidic finish. This cuvée promises long, excellent ageing potential.
