    Information
    About the producer

Having acquired a real reputation with the wines from his trade, since 2006, with the help of his son, Dominique Laurent has also created a small producer-farming establishment from vineyards leased to a winemaker of Vosne-Romanée. He does not deal with vinification but élevage and bottling. Nevertheless, he supervises vinification. The father and son like to work grape musts that have not been destemmed and to mature their wines without sulphur. They use new barrels, the signature of the maison. Dominique Laurent's entire range of wines is characterised by a high degree of purity and to be accessible to all ages. This recipe has proved its worth to fans all over the world.

    About the wine

Dominique Laurent, the eponymous high-end wine merchant, offers us a Nuits-Saint-Georges produced from Pinot Noir meticulously cultivated in the ‘Les Pruliers’ Premier Cru. Enjoying an oceanic climate with a semi-continental influence, the vines have drawn all the nutrients they needed to thrive from soils consisting of limestone and marl, creating a delightful balance of density and freshness on the palate.
In the winery, nothing is left to chance during the vinification process. The grapes are not desemmed systematically, and sulphur has no part in the process, or is used only in minute, homeopathic quantities. The wine is bottled with the utmost care.
We recommend leaving this wine to rest for at least ten years in your cellar to appreciate all the qualities it will develop over time. Allowing time to develop will help refine the wine’s aromatic complexity and the roundness of its tannins. An astonishing natural acidity contributes to the wine’s ageing potential, as well as giving it great persistence.
