Information
The estate’s plots, which stretch across some of Burgundy’s finest terroirs, are planted exclusively with Pinot Noir vines. Each parcel possesses different subsoil, and the winemaker takes great pleasure in expressing these nuances in each of his cuvées. Philippe Leclerc strives to produce authentic wines as naturally as possible, applying the principles of sustainable viticulture. The harvested grapes are then vinified following a traditional, low-intervention method. The wine is gently aged in casks for several months before bottling without fining or filtration, where is patiently awaits to be released for sale a while longer.
The ruby-red colour reveals a precise bouquet of charming ripe black fruit harmoniously mingling with pronounced notes of Morello cherry. The intense and elegant palate reveals fines perfectly balanced tannins in a superb substance culminating in a flavoursome, fruity finish.
