About the producer
The Fonds Doré distillery was established in 1923 by the Bernus family, who used it to produce the rum of the same name. After enjoying success in the 1970s, its popularity began to wane and it eventually closed in the 1990s.

A Bernus rhum agricole distilled in 1977 and bottled in the 1980s at the Fonds-Doré plantation.
