Information
A result of the meticulous blending of 50% Carignan and 50% Syrah, this cuvée is a beautiful reflection of the rich and diverse terroir of the Languedoc region. Situated between the Mediterranean Sea and the Corbières, the vines thrive on clay-limestone soils interspersed with schist and sandstone. The Mediterranean climate, with its hot, dry summers, encourages optimal grape ripening while preserving a refreshing acidity. The winemaking process is artisanal and respectful of tradition. The grapes are hand-harvested, then destemmed before fermenting in stainless steel vats. Ageing takes place in vats, maintaining the purity of the fruit while allowing delicate nuances to develop.
The wine presents a rich red colour. The nose opens with aromas of ripe red fruits, black cherry, and spices, underscored by herbaceous notes. The palate is fleshy and round, with well-integrated tannins and beautiful length. The finish is soft, with a hint of minerality.
