Information
The Pinot Noir vines that produce this nectar grow in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges’ emblematic terroir, at the foot of the hillside in the climat known as Les Herbues. The white clay-limestone soil provides the vines with all the nutrients and energy they require to thrive. The plot offers a gentle east-facing slope, providing a perfect balance of sunshine for the vines. Once in the winery, the Pinot Noir grapes are vinified in whole clusters. The cuvée is matured in used casks for eight months before bottling without fining or filtration.
The ruby-red colour reveals a seductive bouquet dominated by wild strawberry and blackcurrant aromas, with hints of eucalyptus. The fleshy, lively palate deliciously affirms the fruity aromas of the nose, accentuated by a mineral structure, leading to a long, fresh finish.
