About the producer
The Tomintoul distillery was established in 1964, in the prestigious area of Glenlivet, near the River Avon in Speyside, and is named after one of the highest villages in the Highlands (350 m). Founded by the independent bottlers W&S Strong & Co and Hay & MacLeod & Co, it then passed into the hands of Whyte & Mackay, before being bought by Angus Dundee.
About the wine
This edition of Tomintoul was matured for 12 years, including an 18-month finish in Oloroso sherry casks.
