Information
Benjamin Benoît is the current owner of his family estate, representing the fourth generation. The land had previously been devoted to polyculture before his father decided to restore the vineyard to its former glory. Today, Benjamin Benoît manages just over six hectares of land in accordance with the principles of sustainable agriculture, which places great importance on the soil. Benoît is very aware of how rich his lands are and has every intention to make the most out of them. He produces an Arbois wine from hand-picked, high-quality Chardonnay grapes local to the estate. The grapes are then vinified in barrels and are left to age for several months in wooden “pièces” barrels.
Tasting reveals a white wine tinged with hints of green, which turn gold over time. On the palate, this wine has a perfect balance between notes of citrus fruits, white fruits and almond flowers. It is intense, light-bodied and complemented by its beautiful minerality.
