Information
In the land of Savagnin we find vineyards refining the thousand features of Chardonnay. The vines, growing on the iridescent red marl soils, enjoy the benefits of healthy and sustainable viticulture which respects the principles of organic farming. In the cellar, as in the vineyards, the aim is to allow the terroir and the grape variety to express all their flavours. After harvesting the grapes entirely by hand, the vinification process is meticulously carried out with minimal intervention. First of all, the grapes are gently fermented in vats before being placed in barrels to complete this essential wine-making process. Finally, the cuvée is aged for 24 months on lees during which time there is regular topping up.
The bouquet unveils aromas of exotic fruits, like pineapples, lychees and mangoes. On the palate, the fine acidity goes perfectly with the fruity flavours and an explosion of freshness.
