Information
Domaine Zeroine is located in the Jura. Rare and sought-after, this notably discreet estate has earned its reputation through the healthy cultivation of its grapes and its minimal, sometimes completely non-intervention, winemaking. A small gem waiting to be discovered!
Maylis Bernard, the partner of the illustrious Jean-François Ganevat, is at the helm of an influential wine trading house straight from the Jura. This is where she crafts original blends to produce racy, juicy cuvées. The Jucha cuvée consists of a meticulous blend of different Jura Chardonnays from the Lavigny, Varrons and Augea plots. The grapes, exclusively cultivated according to organic agriculture principles, are carefully selected. In the winery, the pressed grapes are transferred to 500-litre casks, where they ferment naturally. Lastly, the cuvée is aged for two years and bottled without fining or filtration.
The pale colour reveals a delicate bouquet of infused aromas and dried fruit. On the palate, delicate aromas of honeysuckle mingle with a fine minerality, leading to an incredibly long finish. This cuvée promises excellent ageing potential.
