Information
The old Chardonnay vines grow at an altitude of around 300 metres, nestling in the heart of the prestigious Chassagne-Montrachet vineyard. The late harvests yield grapes of the highest quality, with an extraordinary concentration of aromas. In the winery, the Chardonnay grapes are vinified following traditional methods with as little intervention as possible. The winemaking process is rounded off by a long ageing period in a freezing cellar before bottling without filtration.
The clear, bright colour reveals an exhilarating bouquet, with aromas of pear, white peach and almond paste mingling seamlessly with white floral notes and hints of smoke. The dense, rich palate reveals a satiny, incisive texture with a high acidity, gently leading to a perfectly structured, concentrated and flavoursome finish. This Chassagne-Montrachet promises ten beautiful years of ageing potential.
