Information
The François Legros estate in Burgundy, located between the iconic Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, was founded in 1988. More than 30 years later, the vineyard proudly cultivates almost seven hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines, spanning the region’s finest appellations. Well aware of the current environmental concerns and with a view to protecting biodiversity, the vineyard operates in accordance with sustainable farming practices. The goal is to combine traditional Burgundian expertise with the latest technology to produce wines in a more sustainable approach. Each parcel receives specific care depending on its needs, to allow the personality of each one to shine through. After harvesting the grapes entirely by hand, vinification is carried out with minimal intervention and sulphur is added in minute quantities. It’s against this peaceful backdrop that the domain produces fruity and flavoursome vintages perfectly reflecting the region’s traditional expertise.
