Information
Founded in 1964, the Côte de Nuits-Villages appellation brought together five villages spread across the Côte de Nuits. To the north of the appellation, the vines run alongside the village of Fixin, facing east and south-east, on marl and limestone soils. To the south, the villages of Prissey, Comblanchien and Corgoloin round off this appellation, which produces mainly Pinot Noir-based red wines. Once harvested, the grapes go through traditional vinification using minimal intervention, by optimising the natural and authentic expression of the terroir and grape variety.
Glistening with a wonderful bright red colour, the cuvée reveals an expressive bouquet marked by aromas of forest fruits and subtle smoky notes. On the palate, the fine tannins are perfectly balanced with a light acidity, leading to a fruity, flavourful and long finish. It is a wine that will develop to perfection after a few years in the cellar.
