These Syrah vines, planted in a unique landscape at the edge of a high-altitude forest, reap the benefits of healthy, sustainable viticulture practices respectful of the environment, based on the principles of organic farming. Neither fertilisers nor chemicals are used in the vineyards, allowing each plot to develop its own personality and draw all the nutrients it needs from the soil. In the winery, the same ethos applies. Vinification is low interventionist, with no added sulphur. Unsurprisingly, fermentation is achieved spontaneously using the indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes.
The intense red colour promises a fragrant bouquet. The expressive nose is dominated by powerful red fruit aromas with hints of spice. In the mouth, notes of chocolate and hazelnut combine beautifully with dense tannins, culminating in a lingering, flavourful finish.
