Information
Sangiovese vines flourish in the heart of Montalcino, Tuscany. Situated at the southernmost point of the emblematic Brunello di Montalcino appellation, the vineyard carefully applies organic and biodynamic growing methods. No chemical fertilisers or weed killers are used, with the aim of leaving the natural cycle of the soil in place. In the cellar, the philosophy is the same, and vinification is carried out with little intervention. The special feature of this cuvée is its long ageing in vats for 19 months. Finally, the wine is bottled for a further 34 months.
The light ruby-red colour reveals an expressive nose marked by aromas of small red fruits with subtle notes of leather and tobacco. The fine and delicate palate reveals a round, elegant body, perfectly balanced between silky tannins and light acidity, leading to a long, flavoursome finish. This is a cuvée that can be stored for several years in the cellar.
